The Visi-Pro stent system is indicated for use in the common and external iliac arteries. It is made from a stainless steel tube that is cut into an open lattice design and has tantalum radiopaque markers at the proximal and distal ends of the stent. The stent is mounted (crimped) onto a tightly folded balloon catheter and expanded and deployed by inflating the balloon. Ensure visibility before and after stent placement with the Visi-Pro balloon-expandable peripheral stent system for treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The stent's patented design balances strength and flexibility for proven patency as found in the Visibility Iliac study. Radiopaque markers on the stent ensure precise placement. Deliver over an 0.035 in. guidewire for use in the common or external iliac arteries or in the biliary system.
