SideWinder blade is the first articulating bipolar hip wand that incorporates a rotating shaft and is deflectable up to 100°. The articulating and rotating tip allows access to all areas of the joint space with two degrees of freedom. The robust shaft and ergonomic handle is designed with the durability required to complete an arthroscopic hip procedure. SideWinder blade resects and ablates acetabular labral tissue while contouring tissue edges to minimize the rough, jagged appearance that may result from the use of mechanical instruments.
