Allevyn Life is a silicone gel adhesive, composite, hydrocellular foam dressing is an effective addition to your pressure ulcer prevention program. The construction of Allevyn Life incorporates Allevyn dressings highly permeable, waterproof film, highly absorbent hydrocellular layer and the gentle adhesive wound contact layer with two additional layers a hyperabsorbent padding layer and a protective layer. These layers enable the dressing to redistribute pressure more evenly than traditional foam dressings and help shield the visibility of exudate. The dressing helps prevent bacterial contamination and is highly conformable with a wide adhesive border.
