Thoracoport soft single-use trocars have cannulas that are less rigid from a side to side perspective than the standard Thoracoport. Each Thoracoport soft 5 mm, 12 mm, and 15 mm single-use trocar consists of a blunt-tipped obturator and a 60 mm threaded flexible sleeve with a shroud at its proximal end to protect against foreign materials entering the chest cavity, and for instrument stabilization.
