Premium Plus CEEA staplers place a circular, double staggered row of titanium staples. The instrument is activated by squeezing the handles firmly as far as they will go. Immediately after staple formation, the knife blade resects the excess tissue, creating a circular anastomosis. The diameter of the staple line is determined by the selection of the 34 mm, 31 mm, 28 mm, 25 mm or 21 mm stapler. The Tilt-Top anvil is permanently affixed to the center rod and cannot be removed. It is available on the 34, 31, 28 and the 25 mm staplers.
