T-PAL spacer trialing to aid in correct selection of the implant is extremely important. A spacer trial should be used prior to insertion of the implant to evaluate potential spacer placement and determine the optimal implant fit. Trialing with the T-PAL spacer system is true trialing as the trial sizing matches the implant sizing. Additionally the T-PAL spacer trials will pivot on the T-PAL spacer applicator the same way that the definitive implant does, providing the opportunity to ensure accurate placement.
