The Ultraverse 014 and 018 PTA balloon dilatation catheters are small vessel balloon catheters consisting of an over the wire co-axial lumen catheter with a balloon fixed at the distal tip. These balloons have two radiopaque markers to delineate the working length of the balloon and aid in balloon placement. The catheters include an atraumatic tip to facilitate advancement of the catheter to and through the stenosis. To facilitate catheter advancement through the vasculature and the vessel stenosis, the UltraCross dual layer hydrophilic coating is present on the distal segment of the shaft and the balloon. Ultraverse 014 and 018 are available in multiple shaft lengths and compatible with 0.014 in. and 0.018 in. guidewires, respectively. The proximal portion of the catheters include a female luer lock hub connected to the inflation lumen and a female luer lock hub connected to the guidewire lumen.
