When using the Rapid Release technique, advance the Flexor Parallel over a previously placed wire guide through the opening in the dilator. Once the sheath is in place, remove the dilator. This causes the wire guide to rapidly release from the dilator tip and transition to outside the sheath. This technique provides a free working channel and a safety wire to maintain the tract. The Rapid Release technique eliminates a step from the procedure, saves product and streamlines inventory.
