The multi-sideport catheter infusion set consists of a catheter with distal and proximal radiopaque markers indicating the location of the infusion segment, a Tuohy-Borst side-arm adapter, a catheter tip occluder with filiform tip and a dual check valve with syringe. The dual check valve is designed to facilitate uncomplicated loading of an infusate from a larger syringe source to a small 1 mL delivery syringe. This permits subsequent injection without disconnection from the delivery catheter assembly. The use of the catheter tip occluder assembly enhances controlled localized dispersion of infusate through the sideports of the infusion catheter.
